Terms of Use

Palwego (the “Service”), available at palwego.com, is owned and operated by Palwego LLC(“Palwego”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Palwego is a collaborative trip-planning tool: shared itineraries, ideas, notes, maps, and cost splitting. Palwego is not a travel agency, booking service, or travel advisor. We do not sell, arrange, or guarantee any travel product, reservation, or transportation, and we are not a party to any arrangement you make with airlines, hotels, or other providers.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You keep ownership of the content you add to Palwego — trips, events, ideas, notes, comments, and other material (“Your Content”). You grant Palwego LLC a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service — for example, showing a trip to the members you invited.

If you mark a trip public, anyone with its link can view it. You are responsible for what you share and with whom.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: breaking the law; infringing others’ rights; uploading malicious code; probing or disrupting our systems; scraping at scale; attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours; or using the Service to send spam or abusive content.

The Service displays information from third parties — including Google (places, ratings, hours), Mapbox (maps, routes), and estimates such as travel times. This information may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and travel conditions change. Always verify critical details (opening hours, schedules, travel times, addresses, visa or safety requirements) with primary sources before relying on them. Palwego LLC is not responsible for decisions you make based on information shown in the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST — KEEP COPIES OF INFORMATION YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PALWEGO LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL — INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM TRAVEL PLANS, MISSED BOOKINGS OR CONNECTIONS, OR RELIANCE ON INFORMATION IN THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF US $100 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Palwego LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access to it — with notice where practicable — including for violations of these terms. Sections 4, and 7 through 12 survive termination.

We may update the Service and these terms. For material changes we will give notice (for example, on this page or by email). Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
